Why Is Circular Economy The Way Forward?

As more people settle down and take full advantage of the Earth, the resources appear to be depleting and will run out soon if not addressed promptly. Many people are already researching methods to make these resources last longer so that the rest of our days on Earth become more comfortable for us and future generations.

It is already distressing to realize that these resources are on their way out, and we will soon lose all natural resources that will interfere with our life. Furthermore, we are the direct cause of these resources depleting far quicker than they should owing to our reckless behavior.

Why Does Circular Economy Matter?

Circular economy encourages recycling and reusing items so that we do not have to make them all over again, depleting the world’s resources, and it decreases waste and carbon emissions. Repairing, recycling, and redesigning products allow them to be utilized for an extended period of time.

The notion of Circular Economy is diametrically opposed to the linear economy that we have been following since the beginning and handing down to future generations. In a linear economy, we acquire things, utilize them, and then discard them after our purpose is completed. This manner of life is expensive, not monetarily, because we use up limited raw materials and then toss them away. This may be judged by summing up the quantity of waste produced by each country every year to determine how many resources we have wasted in a given year.

‘Circularizing’ the World

If you’re asking how to make the globe more circular, the solution isn’t only to stop using plastic but to do so much more. It’s strange how when we talk about global warming, the first thing that comes to mind is plastic consumption, although it’s so much more than that. Although plastic is a major contributor to environmental damage, other factors must also be considered.

To make the world more circular, adopt a plant-based diet and encourage carpooling to reduce the number of automobiles on the road. Furthermore, minimize the number of buildings in the country and use offices as community centers or night schools so that one structure may serve several functions. If we do this now, we will be able to live comfortably in the future by conserving all of our resources.

Work of DauroLohnhoffDorea

Thankfully, many people have taken matters into their own hands, including DauroLohnhoffDorea. He founded the American Institute of Circular Economy to educate people about his concept in depth so that they may take action to combat the linear economy. DauroLohnhoffDorea is a German-Brazilian lawyer who has spent much of his life making the environment sustainable so that future generations may benefit as well, and with this mindset, he has high hopes for change.

It is high time to help individuals like DauroLohnhoffDorea in bringing about this long-needed change so that we can live peacefully for the rest of our lives. We have taken too much from the Earth, and now it is time to return it.
